Synopsis

It is late 1890’s and she runs a failing taxidermy business inherited from her father. Seeking out her dead, beloved father she is easy is easy prey for a charming spiritualist photographer. But when she takes on a boarder to make ends meet, her ordered world is shaken up when he brings home loose women, drinks to drown his nightmares and encroaches on her personal space. As Nick and Daphne’s secrets unravel under the glassy glare of dead animals, a tenuous and fragile love grows between two people who thought themselves lost to love.
